The strategic alliance between Build Lovers and Aquí Tu Reforma will enable customers to access customized industrialized housing in Catalonia, Madrid, Valencia and the Balearic Islands, with a comprehensive service ranging from self-promotion to interior finishes.
“Industrialized houses are a booming market, with very interesting market shares not only in Nordic countries such as Sweden, where 100% of homes are built in this way, but also in regions such as England, the Netherlands or Germany, where this system represents between 8% and 15% of the total. In Spain, although its adoption is still incipient, this type of construction has great growth potential, especially in a market that needs to reduce lead times and address labor shortages,” says José Manuel Martínez, CEO of Build Lovers.
Barcelona, September 19, 2024 – Build Lovers, the platform specialized in real estate self-promotion, has signed a collaboration agreement with Aquí Tu Reforma, a leader in renovations, to offer complete industrialized housing construction solutions. Through this alliance, customers will be able to access high-quality prefabricated homes through Aquí Tu Reforma stores in Catalonia, Madrid, Valencia and the Balearic Islands, with plans to expand to other regions in 2025.
The collaboration between Build Lovers and Aquí Tu Reforma will allow Build Lovers to rely on ATR for the interior finishes of industrialized housing, taking advantage of the solid experience of Aquí Tu Reforma in renovations and refurbishments. This synergy will provide clients with a comprehensive experience that covers both structural construction and interior finishes, guaranteeing a high quality delivery.

In a context of housing crisis in Spain, where there is an estimated shortage of 600,000 homes, the industrialized housing market is gaining ground as an efficient alternative. Prefabricated construction not only significantly shortens delivery times – a house can be completed in six months – but also mitigates labor shortages, one of the sector’s greatest challenges.
“More and more people are opting to build their own home outside the big cities, driven by rising prices and a lack of housing supply. We predict that the number of developers specializing in this type of housing will triple by 2030,” says Francisco Morán, CEO of Aquí Tu Reforma.
Through this alliance, Build Lovers strengthens its presence in Spain, starting with Catalonia, Madrid, Valencia and the Balearic Islands. By 2025, self-promotion services are expected to be available in at least 25 Aquí Tu Reforma stores, with plans to expand to other regions where Build Lovers already has a presence.
“This agreement not only allows us to offer a complete and personalized service to clients, but also to diversify our business sources by partnering with leaders such as Aquí Tu Reforma. In this way, we make it easier for customers to build their industrialized homes faster, more efficiently and with the backing of two consolidated brands,” adds José Manuel Martínez.
